Alan Kaye is Senior Vice President of Human Resources
at Mattel with responsibility for all human resource functions
for 35,000 employees worldwide. Prior to joining Mattel in 1997,
Kaye was President of the Texas Division of Kaufman and Broad
Home Corporation. He was promoted to president from his position
as SVP of Human Resources & Organizational Planning. Before
joining Kaufman and Broad, Kaye served as SVP of Human Resources
& Corporate Services for Columbia Savings & Loan, Director
of High Technology Consulting for The Hay Group and held positions
of increasing responsibility in human resources at IBM. Kaye
received his MBA in Industrial Relations at the Anderson School
of Management at UCLA and his BS in Business at the University
of Massachusetts at Amherst.
