Meaningful exchange between members of the HRM academic and practitioner communities forms the basis of the HARRT Organization. Founded to enhance the practice, teaching and research of human resources management, HARRT is composed of senior level executives in human resources management and professors who are actively teaching and doing scholarly research in their respective disciplines. Membership in HARRT is by invitation to individuals who have demonstrated their expertise, accomplishment and leadership in the field of human resource management and are committed to advancing the knowledge, strategy and quality of the profession. Members take an active role in developing program topics and participating in Round Table and Retreat discussions, deriving value from this association and the access to privileged information. HARRT members derive value in an atmosphere of trust that helps them benchmark "best practices" and share "lessons learned" as they make decisions affecting the bottom line performance of their organizations.
